The Nunavik Youth Houses Association is responsible of the coordination of the Nunavik Youth Centers Program as well as the supervision and training of all the coordinators and animators in the 14 communities. Two youth centers (Kuujjuaq and Kangirsuk) are still under authority of the local Northern Village Council, while the remaining twelve have been transferred to the NYHA.
The Executive of the Association is composed of an Acting President (Marie-Andrée Chachai – Ivujivik), a Vice-President (Christopher Nagle – Kangirsualujjuaq), a Treasurer (Annie Nuktie – Umiujaq), a Secretary (Uttuqi Tukkiapik – Kuujjuaq) and a Director at Large (Eva Alaku – Kangirsujuaq).
The main office of the NYHA is in Inukjuak, with two permanent employees: Shawn Routley as Accounting Technician and Nancy Kasudluak as Executive Secretary.
A Consultant on Training (Francine Hudon), a Financial Controller (Marie-Eve Goulet) and an Administrative Secretary (Manon Pepin) and 2 Specialized Resources (Anne-Marie Turcotte and Kris Millett) support the staff.
